As you may have heard, College Confidential is rolling out a redesigned forum experience that will provide visitors with a streamlined, intuitive and user-friendly platform. To help CC users get a feel for how the new forum will look and operate, we're sharing a few highlights.

In the pilot episode of the College Confidential podcast, our host Jon Oswald sat down with CC's Community Product and Operations Manager, Jon Ericson, to provide details about the updated forum. Ericson pointed out the following highlights, among others:

• Upon logging into the forum, you'll be able to see all of the categories, which provide you with a wide range of places to talk about higher education
• The new forum features load times that are much faster than what readers have seen in the past
• Readers can control notifications with more detail, allowing you to see more from a particular CC user or about a specific topic, as well as "muting" particular topics or schools that you don't want to review
• Those who post on the forum will have more editing options when it comes to such things as posting, quoting others or replying.
