Question: I am Arab and catagorized as white on a racial forms, but when applying for college what should I mark?
On many college applications, including the Common App, if you check the "White" box, you will get a pull-down menu that allows you to then also check "Middle East" to further define your heritage.
In addition, there is almost always a blank "Other" space where you can type in any necessary clarifications.
