Campus Visit Notes for San Francisco State University

Visit Description:

We learned that Mark Twain wasn't kidding when he said the coldest winter he ever lived through was a summer in San Francisco. It was July and 100 degrees further inland, but SF was freezing. Everyone on campus was wearing jackets while we shivered in our short sleeves. (People who live through East Coast winters should pay no mind to my weather report.) SF State has students from many different ethnic and economic backgrounds -- and the campus is very diverse, which my son loved. I wish we had spent more time there.

The 5 on overall campus impression is coming from someone who loves San Francisco and would like to attend a large, progressive university where Greek life is not prominent.
